The Auxiliary of the Italian Social Republic, the first female Italian army

With Italy split in two, after September 8, 1943 and the establishment in the north, by Mussolini, the Italian Social Republic (RSI), allied with the Germans and fighting against the Anglo-American forces who had invaded from the south of the peninsula and were advancing towards the north, was promulgated by RSI 18 April 1944 a ministerial decree that established a new army unit for women aged 18 to 45 years. Giovanni Pacelli was born in Rome, March 2, 1876, from a noble family that had always been in the service of the Papal States. He graduated in law and studied theology.
