The other night I finished reading Crime and punishment. Novel extraordinarily beautiful, and there is some need that I come from the Canal, to say it. Frankly, I did not think I snatched it so much, but most did not expect to find a comic-surreal interlude, as its creator is not some Dostoevsky.

I mean
Arrived on page 634 edition output Republic a few years ago, the famous Russian novelist writes:

Svidrigailov knew her, that little girl, the coffin had no image, or candles and did not feel prayers. That girl was a suicide, drowned.

by itself, does anything but laugh. However, the sentence ends with a note, in particular footnote 43.
is that I do not usually put me to read all the notes in a novel, but this was at the bottom of the page, then jumped quite eye for its brevity and because it was obviously something wrong.
The note said:

oioioiioioioioi ?????????????

Now, I do not know who the genius who put it there, but I'd love to meet him and shake his hand.
