The Auxiliary of the Italian Social Republic, the first female Italian army

With Italy split in two, after September 8, 1943 and the establishment in the north, by Mussolini, the Italian Social Republic (RSI), allied with the Germans and fighting against the Anglo-American forces who had invaded from the south of the peninsula and were advancing towards the north, was promulgated by RSI 18 April 1944 a ministerial decree that established a new army unit for women aged 18 to 45 years. Were used for hospital services, the military services in offices, in the garrisons, barracks, warehouses, places to eat, in kitchens and dining halls, in air defense as AEROPHONES and Marconi. They followed the movements of troops at the front and sometimes fought as they did in the plain of Neptune or the Gothic Line. After the war after April 25, 1945, about 300 were killed by Communist partisans auxiliary.
